Fraud Prevention & Order Verification Policy

Applicable To: All orders placed at AMULET RING STORE
1. Scope & Purpose
This policy is designed to protect AMULET RING STORE and our customers from fraudulent transactions, unauthorized payments, and chargeback fraud. Given our global Dropshipping model, we employ strict verification procedures to ensure transaction security and prevent financial loss for all parties.
By completing the checkout process, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Fraud Prevention & Order Verification Policy, along with our Terms of Service.
2. High-Risk Order Identification
Orders may be flagged for enhanced verification if one or more of the following indicators are detected by Shopify’s fraud analysis system or our internal monitoring:

IP address country differs from shipping or billing country

Shipping address is associated with package forwarding or freight consolidation services (e.g., PORSAY, Shipito, MyUS, Stackry, Forward2Me, Parcl, Reship)

Use of virtual/prepaid cards or cards issued from high-risk regions
-
Multiple orders placed in a short time from the same customer or IP address
-
Inconsistent or mismatched customer details (name, email, phone, address)
-
First-time customer with a high-value order
-
Orders shipped to addresses known for high fraud activity
3. Mandatory Verification Process
If an order is flagged as high-risk, we reserve the right to request one or more of the following before processing or shipping:

Government-issued photo ID matching the billing name on the order

Proof of residential address (utility bill, bank statement, tax document) matching the shipping address

Card verification photo (last 4 digits visible only, all other details covered)

Phone verification via the number provided in the order

Written authorization if the cardholder name differs from the customer name
Customers must provide requested verification within 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in automatic order cancellation and a full refund.
4. Package Forwarding & PO Box Addresses
Orders shipped to known package forwarding addresses (including but not limited to PORSAY, Shipito, MyUS, Stackry, Forward2Me, Parcl, Reship) will be subject to mandatory verification. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or freight forwarders without prior validation of the end recipient’s identity and authorization.
5. High-Risk Region Monitoring
We continuously monitor global fraud trends. Orders originating from or shipping to regions with historically high fraud rates may require additional verification. This is a precautionary measure to protect all parties and is not applied indiscriminately.
6. Payment Capture & Holding Policy

High-risk orders will not be captured automatically.

Payments will remain in authorized status until verification is complete.

If verification fails, the authorization will be voided—no refund necessary.

Verified orders will be manually captured before fulfillment.
7. Chargeback & Dispute Defense
In the event of a fraudulent chargeback or dispute, we will submit all available evidence to the payment processor, including:

Order details and Shopify fraud analysis report

Verification documents provided by the customer
-
Shipping and delivery confirmation with full tracking history
-
Email and SMS communication records
-
This published Fraud Prevention Policy as proof of due diligence
8. Product Availability & Order Finality
Due to our dropshipping model, product availability can change without prior notice. We reserve the right to cancel any order if the product becomes unavailable from our suppliers.
Orders that have been successfully verified under this policy and have confirmed delivery are considered final sales. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding defective or incorrect items.
9. Data Privacy & Security
All personal documents submitted for verification are handled securely. They are stored encrypted and permanently deleted within 90 days after order completion or cancellation. We do not share this information with third parties except as required by law or payment disputes.
10. Cancellation of Fraudulent Orders
If an order is confirmed or suspected to be fraudulent:

The order will be cancelled immediately

A full refund will be issued to the original payment method

No restocking or cancellation fees will apply

The customer will be notified via email
-
Repeat offenders may be permanently banned from future purchases
11. Customer Acknowledgment
By placing an order, you agree to:

Provide truthful, accurate, and complete personal and payment information

Cooperate with any verification requests if your order is flagged

Use only payment methods you are authorized to use
-
Accept that failure to complete verification will result in order cancellation
